PTDI Signs Strategic Contract with Japan’s ShinMaywa at Singapore Airshow 2026
JAKARTA — PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) officially signed a Purchase Agreement with ShinMaywa Industries, a Japanese aerospace company, on the second day of the Singapore Airshow 2026. The agreement was signed by PTDI’s Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, Moh. Arif Faisal, together with the President of Aircraft Division of ShinMaywa Industries, Hideyuki Mochida, and was witnessed by PTDI President Director, Gita Amperiawan, at PTDI’s booth A-L31, Changi Exhibition Center.
Through this cooperation, PTDI will manufacture large-scale aerostructure components for global commercial aircraft programs such as Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier. These components require high levels of precision and strict compliance with international quality and certification standards.
“This collaboration reflects the global industry’s trust in PTDI’s aerostructure manufacturing and engineering capabilities, while strengthening PTDI’s role in the global supply chain of leading aerospace OEMs,” said Moh. Arif Faisal.
The agreement reinforces PTDI’s position as part of the global aviation industry supply chain, while opening opportunities for knowledge transfer, increased self-reliance, and added value for the national aerospace industry. Synergy with ShinMaywa is expected to expand both companies’ contributions to the global aerospace industry value chain.
